Robert Hahn

Robert Hahn has been involved with the performing arts his whole life. While attending Los Altos High School, he played trumpet in the Conqueror Marching Band. During college, he began to study dance to further explore music through a different performance medium. Since then, Robert has been the proud and successful instructor of many color guard programs in Southern California including Esperanza H.S. (85’-88’), Riverside Community College/Fantasia (86’-88’), Rancho Buena Vista H.S. (89’-91’), Diamond Bar H.S. (93’-95’), and Los Altos H.S. (98’-2001). He has also taught for many summer color guard/dance camps including California Leadership Academy, International Marching Clinics, Camp Esprit, and United Spirit Association.

After receiving his Bachelors of Arts in Communications, Robert began to dance professionally and for many years worked as a performer for the Walt Disney Company. Robert lived in Japan for two years while working for the Walt Disney Entertainment Division at Tokyo Disneyland.

Currently, Robert is an Auxiliary and Visual judge for SCSBOA (Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association), an Auxiliary and Visual Performance judge for WBA (Western Band Association), and a movement judge for WGI (Winter Guard International) and WGASC (Winter Guard Association of Southern California). Robert also holds a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture.
